Board Moves November 21, 2022

Nelson Resources has appointed Peter Bird as non-executive chair and Nicholas Ong as non-executive director. They take over from Jonathan Shellabear and Steve Brockhurst respectively. Mr Bird is a mining industry executive with extensive experience covering senior technical, management, investor relations and human resources positions with major mining companies. Mr Nicholas has over 16 years of experience in listing rules compliance and corporate governance; and in mining project finance, mining and milling contract negotiations, mine CAPEX & OPEX management, and toll treatment reconciliation.

OreCorp has appointed current CEO & MD Matthew Yates as executive chair, following the retirement of Craig Williams who has been non-executive chair for the last decade. Current chief operating officer Henk Diederichs will replace Mr Yates as chief executive and managing director. Mr Diederichs was vice president of project development from November 2016 to Jul 2019 before rejoining the company as chief operating officer in October 2021.

Podium Minerals has appointed current non-executive director Rodney Baxter as non-executive chair, with founding director Clayton Dodd retiring as executive chair having held the role since April 2020.   

Riversgold has appointed experienced geologist and resource professional Ed Mead as non-executive director. Mr Mead is a geologist with 27 years of experience in mineral exploration, mine development and mine production.
