Board Moves May 29, 2023

Brightstar Resources has appointed Gregory Bittar as non-executive chair, with Josh Hunt stepping down as chair but remaining a non-executive director. The company has also appointed Ben Smith as joint company secretary. Mr Bittar was appointed to the board recently, following the merger of Brightstar Resources and Kingwest Resources. Mr Hunt has been on the board of Brightstar since 2020 and became chair in February 2023 to assist in the merger. Mr Smith, from Mining Corporate, is a Chartered Accountant with over 9 years of experience in finance, accounting and corporate advisory.

Orthocell has appointed John Van Der Wielen as an independent non-executive chair from June, with Dr Stewart Washer continuing as executive director. Mr Van Der Wielen has more than 35 years of global experience in wealth management, private banking, investments, and health insurance.
