Decmil has appointed current executive director Dickie Dique as chief executive, replacing Scott Criddle who will remain with the company as an executive director. Mr  Dique was appointed a non-executive director in July 2018 and became executive director in February last year. He will be leading Decmil’s continuing turnaround strategy. Mr  Criddle will focus on growth opportunities across Australia.

West African Resources has made some changes to its board structure as it enters the production phase of its 90%-owned Sanbrado Gold Project in Burkina Faso. The company has appointed Libby Mounsey and Stewart Findlay as non-executive directors, while Simon Storm and Mark Connelly will retire as non-executive directors at the upcoming AGM at the end of the month having served on the board since 2008 and 2015 respectively. Ms  Mounsey has over 30 years of experience in human resources and industrial relations across the mining, construction, health, fisheries, and aviation industries. Mr  Findlay has over 25 years of in-depth financial markets experience and has provided project finance, equity investments, commodity hedging arrangements and corporate advice to resource companies.
