Board Moves March 9, 2022

Ryan Welker has taken over from Andrew Teo as managing director of Medusa Mining. Mr Welker was recently appointed a non-executive director following Medusa’s acquisition of Ten Sixty Four Limited, a company Mr Welker had co-founded. Mr Teo has been on Medusa’s board since February 2010 and served as chair from November 2013 to June 2020 before transitioning to interim CEO, and appointed as managing director in March 2021.

Paul Roberts, longstanding executive director of Predictive Discovery, will be retiring from the board at the end of June. He was involved in the discovery of the world class Bankan Gold Project in Guinea. Mr Roberts will remain in an advisory capacity to the company following his retirement.

Prodigy Gold has appointed Mark Edwards as managing director from May. Mr Edwards is an accredited and experienced geologist with over 25 years of experience as a manager and mine geologist responsible for the definition and replacement of resources and reserves on gold projects throughout the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Botswana. Interim executive director Brett Smith will transition back to his non-executive director role following a handover of duties to Mr Edwards.
