Board Moves March 16, 2023

Peter Iancov has resigned as non-executive director of Aerison Group. Mr Iancov has been with the board since April 2021.

Legacy Iron Ore has appointed current non-executive director Amitava Mukherjee as non-executive chair. He joined the board in 2019 and will take over from Sumit Deb who is retiring after reaching superannuation age at NMDC where he has been chair and managing director.

After 20 years on the board of Legend Mining, Michael Atkins will be retiring as non-executive chair at the end of the AGM in May. Following his retirement, current managing director Mark Wilson will become executive chair, and executive director Oliver Kiddie will take over from Mr Wilson as managing director.

Rio Tinto has appointed Dean Dalla Valle and Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz as non-executive directors from June. Mr Dalla Valle has four decades of operational and project management experience in the resources and infrastructure sectors, and has worked across all major mining commodities. Ms Lloyd-Hurwitz has extensive leadership experience in Australia’s built environment sector, having been chief executive and managing director of Mirvac Group for over a decade, and is known for her transformational leadership on cultural change, gender equity, diversity, inclusion and sustainability.
