Board Moves March 12, 2024

Greg Cochran will be stepping down as managing director and chief executive of Aurora Energy Metals before the end of this financial year.  Mr Cochran has been with the company since December 2021 during which the company had a successful IPO process in May 2022, and he was involved in delivering the company’s maiden drill program and an upgraded JORC resource.

Beach Energy has appointed Sally Martin as an independent non-executive director. Ms Martin has extensive operational and business team leadership experience in complex industrial environments including refining and trading. She also has strong ESG credentials, including in energy transition strategy development, during her 34-year career at Shell.

Energy Transition Minerals has appointed international corporate finance and mining executive Aristeidis (Aris) Stamoulis as an independent non-executive director. Mr Stamoulis has a distinguished career spanning nearly three decades in corporate and structured finance, investment banking, consulting, risk management, resources and energy. He has worked across multiple jurisdictions including Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Diane Smith-Gander has replaced Rob Cole as chair of Perenti. Mr Cole has been on the board since July 2018 and became chair in May 2021. Ms Smith-Gander joined the board of Perenti in October 2023 following the implementation of the DDH1 scheme of arrangement in October 2023 where she was on the board as a non-executive director and later became chair.
