Aldoro Resources has appointed Mark Mitchell as technical director, with non-executive chair Joshua Letcher resigning as part of the company’s transition to resource development. Mr Mitchell is a geologist with over 35 years of experience in exploration of rare metals, lithium and base metals within Australia and international jurisdictions.

Sonu Cheema has resigned as joint company secretary of Blaze Minerals.

After nine years with DRA Global, Andrew Naude has decided to step down as managing director and chief executive following an appropriate hand-over period. Mr Naude joined DRA as a senior executive in 2013 and is its longest-serving director. He was an interim chief executive in 2016, and has been the managing director and chief executive since 2019. James Smith, a senior executive who has been with DRA since 2017 and is a current member of the global leadership team, will become interim chief executive from 17 May.

LiveHire has appointed Cris Buningh as an independent non-executive director, following the resignations of Raj Ray and Kathryn Giudes from the board.

Bernard Pryor has stepped down as non-executive chair of MC Mining. Mr Pryor joined the company in August 2012, initially as a non-executive director before becoming chair in February 2014. Longstanding non-executive director Khomotso Mosehla has been appointed interim chair.
