BHP has appointed Ross McEwan CBE as a non-executive director from April 3. Mr McEwan has over 30 years of experience including in the financial services industry, with expertise in capital allocation, risk management and complex regulatory environments.

Following an internal review of its strategy at Credit Intelligence, recently appointed Doman Wong has tendered his resignation as an independent non-executive director.

DXN has appointed Dr Myo Myint Ohn as non-executive director. Dr Ohn is director of The One Matrix Ventures, a significant shareholder in DXN. He has founded several startups that have made advancements in engineering leading to new products in established and emerging markets that involve space age advanced materials, hypersonic ballistics, photonic components, fibre optic communications, financial technologies and Internet Web 3.0

Mark Clements has stepped down as a non-executive director of Emerald Resources and will focus on his executive role as company secretary.

Global mining tech company Imdex has appointed current chief executive Paul House as managing director. Mr House joined Imdex in 2017 and progressed to chief operating officer in 2018 and chief executive in July 2020.

Javelin Minerals has appointed Brett Mitchell as executive chair, Pedro Kastellorizos as non-executive director, and Rachel Kerr as company secretary. Mr Mitchell is an experienced corporate finance executive with over 25 years of experience in the venture capital and equity capital markets. Mr Kastellorizos is a professional geologist with over 26 years of experience in the exploration, mining and corporate sectors. Ms Kerr, a highly experienced company secretary within both the private and public sectors, has over 10 years of experience managing the compliance of ASX-listed companies, corporate acquisitions, capital raisings, IPO’s (ASX & LSE) and due diligence reviews. They replace David Sanders as non-executive chair, Matthew Blake as non-executive director, and Scott Mison as company secretary.

Juno Minerals has appointed Marc Ber as non-executive director. Mr Ber is a shareholder and director of Safika Holdings and chief executive of Safika Resources which has voting power in Ntsimbintle, one of Juno’s major shareholders.

Michelle Blandford has resigned as joint company secretary of Saturn Metals, following the return of Natasha Santi from maternity leave.
