Board Moves June 9, 2023

Jenn Morris, non-executive director of Fortescue Metals Group since November 2016, will be resigning from the board at the end of June. Global Ambassador and non-executive director, Elizabeth Gaines, will transition to an executive director from July. Ms Gaines was the former chief financial officer and chief executive of FMG.

Hannans has appointed Brett Salt as chief executive. Mr Salt has over 3 decades of experience within the resources industry and was involved in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, sales and marketing, finance, shipping, logistics, strategy and operations. He has held a variety of senior roles across Asia Pacific, North America and Europe which will be beneficial as the company moves towards commercialising its lithium-ion battery recycling technology under licences across several jurisdictions in the EU and the UK.
