A-CAP Energy has appointed Dr Andrew Tunks as chief executive. Dr Tunks is a mining veteran with over 30 years of experience and held numerous leadership and exploration positions with various ASX-listed companies. He was previously the managing director of A-Cap Resources from 2006 to 2011 where he led the development of the Letlhakane Project from discovery and first drill hole to one of the world’s largest uranium resources. He then became a non-executive director from February 2012 to June 2013.

Paul Hopper will be stepping down as non-executive chair of Arovella Therapeutics at the end of June, with current non-executive director Dr Elizabeth Stoner assuming the role of interim chair.

AuTECO Minerals has made several senior management appointments including the promotion of Darren Cooke from chief operating officer to chief executive, William Nguyen as chief financial officer and joint company secretary, Tabatha LeBlanc as vice president of the environment and community, and Juan Gutierrez as group chief geologist. Mr Nguyen is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 13 years of experience in the mining industry, including 8 years in the gold sector.

Predictive Discovery has appointed Sandra Bates as non-executive director. Ms Bates is an international lawyer and expert advisor with over 20 years of experience in guiding management teams and boards through complex cross-border corporate transactions.

Scorpion Minerals has appointed Michael Kitney as non-executive director. Mr Kitney is an internationally experienced extractive metallurgist with over 40 years of experience in resource evaluation and project development roles within Australia and internationally.

Xstate Resources has appointed Andrew Bald as non-executive director, following the resignation of David McArthur from the board. Mr Bald has over 35 years of experience in financial markets. Since branching out on his own in 2003, he has raised capital for, and listed, a number of junior oil & gas and mineral exploration companies.
