Board Moves June 29, 2023

AusCann Group Holdings has appointed experienced medicinal cannabis and corporate finance executive Brett Mitchell as an independent non-executive director, and Chris Mews will step down as a director but remains a chief financial officer. Mr Mitchell has over 25 years of experience in the venture capital and equity capital markets and on transactions in the natural resources, technology and life sciences sectors. He is a founder and director of Chieftain Securities, a specialist corporate advisory and venture capital firm.

Tim Kestell, non-executive director of Ausgold since August 2021, has resigned from the board to pursue other business interests.

Volt Resources has made some changes to its board structure as it transitions into an integrated battery materials company. Asimwe Kabunga will transition from non-executive chair to executive chair, current chief executive Prashant Chintawar has been appointed managing director, and Trevor Matthews has resigned as executive director.
