Eduardo Valenzuela has resigned as technical director of Mexican zinc explorer, Consolidated Zinc, due to an increase in personal and work commitments and an upcoming relocation. The company has appointed current company secretary Andrew Biegel as a director. Mr  Beigel has been with Consolidated Zinc since November 2015 and has more than 20 years of corporate experience across a range of industries, holding executive positions with other ASX-listed companies in the resources sector.

Celsius Resources has appointed current non-executive director Pine van Wyk as project director for the Opuwo Cobalt Project on a part-time basis. His core focus will be to provide strategic direction to the Celsius project team and various consultants, ensuring rapid development of the project to maximise value for shareholders.

After more than 2 years with Medusa Mining, Boyd Timler will be retiring as managing director and chief executive due to the extent of travel associated with the role. Current chairman Andrew Teo, who recently transitioned from an executive to a non-executive role, will become the interim chief executive while the company searches for a permanent replacement. Medusa has also promoted David McGowan from general manager of engineering to chief operating officer, and appointed Peter Hepburn-Brown as non-executive director. Mr  Hepburn-Brown has more than 37 years of mining experience, including three years as managing director of Medusa between June 2011 and August 2014.

David Lim has resigned as joint company secretary of Gascoyne Resources.
