BCI Minerals has advised that after more than six years in the role, Alwyn Vorster has decided to step down as managing director and chief executive by the end of 2022 to pursue non-executive advisory roles and other personal interests.

Nicholas Ong and Arthur Ma have been appointed joint company secretaries of Credit Intelligence, replacing Elizabeth Lee from Ventnor Capital. Mr Ong has over 18 years of experience in listing rules compliance and corporate governance. Mr Ma is the company’s chief financial officer.

Kin Mining has appointed experienced gold industry executive and company director Rowan Johnston as non-executive director.  Mr Johnston is a mining engineer with over 30 years of involvement in the mining and processing industries, and in the Australian mid‐tier gold sector. His operational experience will be beneficial as the company looks to progress its 1.28Moz Cardinia Gold Project in Western Australia.

PolarX has made changes to its management structure following the recent discovery of high-grade gold mineralisation in Nevada. Founding executive director Dr Jason Berton will become the managing director and take a leading role in advancing the geological and technical aspects of PolarX’s Nevada and Alaskan assets. Current executive chair Mark Bojanjac will manage the company’s marketing and capital raising activities in Australia and overseas, while chief executive and managing director Dr Frazer Tabeart has moved to a non-executive director’s role.
