Bernard Crawford will be resigning as company secretary of Alchemy Resources and its subsidiaries on March 3. He joined the company in December 2010. Jessamyn Lyons, director of Everest Corporate, will take over as chief financial officer and company secretary.

Kingsrose Mining has appointed Fabian Baker as chief executive. Mr Baker is a geologist and mineral exploration executive. He is also the founder & chief executive of mineral exploration company Tethyan Resource Corp which he took public through a merger onto the London AIM market, then migrating it to the TSX Venture Exchange. Following this appointment, Dr Michael Andrews has resumed the role of non-executive chair and Daryl Corp has been appointed lead independent director.

Todd Hannigan has joined the board of Piedmont Lithium as non-executive director. Mr Hannigan is an experienced mining company executive who had held the roles of chief executive and chair at various listed resources companies.

Southern Hemisphere Mining has appointed copper/gold industry professional David Frances and corporate finance professional Richard Caldwell as non-executive directors, replacing Keith Coughlan and David Lenigas who have retired from the board in order to focus on other business interests. Mr Frances is an international mining executive with extensive experience in developing and transacting on assets in multiple countries. Mr Caldwell has a strong background in advising many successful natural resource and high-tech Australian companies; and assisting with public listing, equity capital markets and project development financing.

Technology Metals Australia has appointed Michael Bourke as project director, to drive the rapid progression of the Yarrabubba Iron-Vanadium Project towards development. Mr Bourke has over 30 years of experience across development, operational and commercial roles; with strong project development, cost management and financial modelling/planning skills.

Anthony Kiernan will step down as chair of Venturex Resources at the end of March, following his appointment as a non-executive director of Northern Star Resources. Mr Kiernan is also the non-executive chair of Saracen Mineral Holdings and will transition to the board of Northern Star Resources following the completion of its merger with Saracen. Current executive director Anthony Reilly will assume the role of chair on an interim basis from 31 March while the company seeks to appoint a new chair. Venturex has also appointed experienced investment banker and company director Craig McGown as non-executive director. Mr McGown has over 40 years of experience as an investment banker consulting to companies in Australia and internationally, particularly in relation to fund raising and mergers & acquisitions within the natural resources sector.

WestStar Industrial has appointed Daniel Coletta as joint company secretary.
