Board Moves February 7, 2024

Lefroy Exploration has appointed Graeme Gribbin as chief executive, and Wade Johnson has departed after 7 years as managing director. Mr Gribbin is a highly experienced geologist with an extensive exploration, mining and management background spanning over 25 years, across both gold and nickel projects, from greenfields exploration through to resource, project development and mining. He was managing director of Lefroy’s wholly-owned subsidiary Hampton Metals in October 2022, and later identified & negotiated the successful acquisition of the Location 45 asset for the company.

Summit Minerals has appointed current chief executive Gower He as managing director. He has been with the company since October 2023. Stephen Ross, who has been on the board since its listing in 2022, has resigned as non-executive director.

Talga Group has promoted Martin Phillips to group chief executive, where he will lead the Vittangi Anode Project execution phase and growth across the company’s operations. Mr Phillips was chief executive of Europe and chief operating officer, and will be based at Talga’s Stockholm office.
