Board Moves February 20, 2024

First Graphene has appointed Elizabeth Lee as company secretary, with Aditya Asthana stepping down from the role on March 15.  Ms Lee has over 20 years of experience serving on several Australian company boards as a director or company secretary.

Matrix Composites & Engineering has advised that long-serving non-executive director Craig Duncan has retired after 14 years on the board. Mr Duncan was an inaugural board member and was involved in the company’s ASX listing in 2009.

Viridis Mining & Minerals has appointed experienced rare earth executive Jose Carlos Guedes Rosado as an independent non-executive director.  Based in Brazil, Mr Guedes is a chemical engineer with extensive and global executive experience in rare earth project delivery, supply chain and production.

White Cliff Minerals has appointed Troy Whittaker as executive director, as it focusses on its portfolio of uranium and copper projects in Northern Canada. Mr Whittaker has over 20 years of commercial, feasibility and construction experience, having held senior positions with major international mining companies such as Fortescue Metals Group & AngloAmerican UK. The company has also advised that Ross Cotton will be retiring from the board at the end of this month.
