Board Moves December 1, 2022

Arafura Rare Earths has appointed Lewis Lowe and Matthew Foy as joint company secretaries, as Catherine Huynh begins her maternity leave. Mr Lowe is the financial controller of Arafura and has been with the company since 2019. Mr Foy is a professional company secretary and director with over 15 years of experience in facilitating public company compliance, ASX Listing Rules, transactional and governance disciplines.

Creso Pharma has appointed Peter Hatfull as non-executive director, following the resignation of Dr James Ellingford. Mr Hatfull has over 40 years of experience in senior executive and board positions within Australian and international companies. He has been involved in business optimisation, strategic planning, corporate governance capital raising and group restructuring.

Dr Allan Trench has resigned as non-executive director of Hot Chili. He joined the board in July 2010, following the listing of the company on the ASX.

Intelligent Monitoring Group has appointed Jason Elks as non-executive director. Mr Elks has led change and growth strategies within significant organisations.

Jindalee Resources has appointed experienced lithium industry executive Paul Brown as an independent non-executive director. Mr Brown has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry and in multiple disciplines including general management, operational management, technical leadership, project/studies management, business improvement, mineral resource evaluation and mine planning. Jindalee has also appointed executive director Lindsay Dudfield as acting chief executive following the spinout of Dynamic Metals and while the company seeks to appoint a permanent CEO to lead the company to the next stage of development for its McDermitt Lithium Project. Additionally, Jessamyn Lyons and Carly Terzanidis have taken over from Patricia Farr as joint company secretaries. Ms Farr has been the company secretary since Jindalee’s initial listing in 2002, and as executive director since 2008.

Leo Lithium has appointed Ron Chamberlain as chief financial officer and joint company secretary, following the resignation of Joseph Belladonna. Mr Chamberlain has extensive offshore experience including in the US and Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Malawi), and in both operating & project environments. He also has a strong background in finance including tax, treasury, risk, legal and regulatory reporting and compliance within an international environment.

Henry (David) Kennedy has stepped down as non-executive chair of Pancontinental Energy after 23 years on the board. Current chief executive and executive director Ernest Myers, who has been with the company since 2004, has been appointed chair.

 Vection Technologies has appointed Jacopo Merli as executive director. Mr Merli is the founder and chief executive of JMC Group, which was acquired by Vection in 2021.
