Nick Woolf is the new chief executive of AusCann Group Holdings. Mr Woolf has almost 25 years of experience in the investment banking and life sciences industries in Australia and internationally. Ido Kanyon, who announced his resignation at the beginning of May, will cease work at the end of August after completing a handover period to Mr Woolf.

BlackEarth Minerals has appointed David Round as chief financial officer and company secretary. Mr Round is an experienced CFO, company secretary and senior executive having worked with  an executive team to manage operations; developed sales, marketing and logistics networks for the supply of graphite to the USA, India, Europe and China; negotiated and concluded numerous joint venture and sales agreements. He replaces Simon Storm who will remain as joint company secretary during this handover period.

Greg Smith has joined the board of robotic technology company FBR as non-executive director. Mr Smith has 39 years of experience within the building products industry in manufacturing, technical and sales across the clay and concrete products sectors. He also specialises in operations and project management, safety transformation leadership, lean implementation and contract negotiation.

Keith Smith has advised Joyce Corporation of his intention to step down as chief executive later this year in order to pursue other interests in 2021. He will assist with the transition to the new CEO and is prepared to stay on until a suitable replacement is appointed.

James Henderson has been appointed non-executive director of Vital Metals, with Francis Harper and Zane Lewis retiring from the board, and Evan Cranston taking over from Mr Harper as chair. Mr Henderson is the founder and chair of Transocean Group and has over 35 years of experience in providing financial advisory services within Australia and overseas, across a wide range of industries including medical devices, aged care, clean energy and natural resources
