Board Moves August 19, 2021

Barra Resources has appointed Michael Edwards as non-executive chair and Glenn Poole as technical director & chief geologist, with longstanding directors Gary Berrell stepping down as executive chair and Grant Mooney stepping down as non-executive director & company secretary. Mr Edwards is a geologist and economist with over 25 years of experience in senior management roles within the public and private sectors, and consultant across a range of industries predominantly in Australia and Africa. Mr Poole is a geologist with almost 15 years of experience in exploration and production environments, structurally controlled narrow vein gold and sulphide-associated gold deposits. He will commence with the company on or before 17 November.

Mining products and services provider Schlam has appointed David Haslett as non-executive director. Mr Haslett has significant experience in the mining services industry and has also been involved across various sectors including healthcare, digital technology, consumer appliances, building materials and services, energy efficiency, and household consumables.
