Castillo Copper has appointed Geoff Reed as non-executive director. Mr Reed is a geologist with over 25 years of experience on GIS and 3D technical work, mostly on underground/open-cut metalliferous mining and various exploration projects.

Environmental technology and infrastructure company Pearl Global has appointed Michael Barry as non-executive chair. Mr Barry’s executive career included 10 years in senior executive roles at Boral and 13 years as chief executive of MSF Sugar. Gary Foster, longstanding executive chair and co-founder, will focus on further developing the company’s sales channels.

Woodside has formally appointed acting CEO Meg O'Neill as the company’s sixth chief executive and managing director. Ms O'Neill became acting chief executive following the departure of Peter Coleman in June. She will also lead the merger between Woodside and BHP’s oil and gas business which is expected to be completed in the second quarter of the 2022 calendar year.
