The Commodore Hotel on Hay Street has continued its multi-million dollar renovation with the completion of a new restaurant – the Armada Bar and Grill.

Opened just last week, Armada is primarily serving breakfast and lunches but there are plans to expand into dinner service.

The menu seeks to cater for a wide range of tastes, with pizzas finding a place next to tapas-styled snacks and lighter al fresco alternatives.

A gleaming coffee and juice counter complete the picture, which is open from breakfast through to 9pm.

After enjoying much success with its inaugural production, the state’s most dynamic rural theatre company, Noble Rot, is presenting ‘Love on a Summer Eve’ at Moss Brothers Winery in Margaret River.

With shows from February 10 to 14, Moss Brother’s picturesque backdrop will provide the stage for the company’s performance.

Noble Rot won critical acclaim following its first production season, which featured the performance of ‘Don Juan’ at Voyager Estate. The troupe was also instrumental in the first ever Margaret River Vintage Stomp last year. That event attracted more than 3,000 people bringing together community groups and local businesses.

The final show of this latest production is on Valentine’s Day. Noble Rot looks set to continue its love affair with local wineries.
