A PERTH audience has been given a crash course in taking massive action to change the quality of their bank account by Canadian author Gerry Robert.
Mr Robert’s seminar Millionaire Mindset: Creating Wealth Anytime, Anywhere for Anyone compliments his latest book The Millionaire Mindset: How Ordinary People Can Create Extraordinary Income.
He said he did not speak from an ivory tower, having earned $1 million a year in his twenties from a background of poverty.
“Many Americans seminar veterans blaze through, impart their wisdom, then leave,” Mr Robert said.
“People email and phone me all the time and I’m very accessible. I was raised by the state and conditioned to expect and accept poverty. I learned most people are unhealthy, unhappy and broke because they play with small ideas.”
Mr Robert said his wealth-building concept was “not about deep theories – it’s where the rubber hits the road”.
“It’s about changing habits and vanquishing things that hold you back from taking action,” he said.
“Try and go outside the square. People make the mistake of thinking they can make money by exchanging time for money, but there is a limit to this.
“Establish additional sources of income that are not dependent on time.”
Mr Robert also owns Awesome Books, a publishing company he plans to bring to Australia.
“WA is a great market because it has such entrepreneurial spirit. There’s a desire to do more, have more, be more,” Mr Robert said.
