Artemis options issue wins 96% acceptance

Shareholders in West Perth-based gold miner Artemis Resources Ltd have take up 96 per cent of the 50.8 million loyalty options it offered earlier this year, the company has announced.

Australian resources company Artemis Resources Limited (Artemis or the Company) advises that it has received applications for 48,809,038 Loyalty Options out of a total of 50,760,002 Loyalty Options which represents an overwhelming 96% response rate.

As advised in the Prospectus, the Company has three months to place the shortfall of 1,950,964 Loyalty Options, and it will advise ASX of the completion of this issue. Attached is an Appendix 3B for the 48,809,038 Loyalty Options which should end trading on a deferred basis on 11 October 2007 with normal trading to commence in the Loyalty Options (ARVO) on 12 October 2007.
