Approval for Diploma's Rockingham units

Belmont-based Diploma Group has received approval to develop a $60 million residential apartment development in Rockingham.

The project will be developed in two stages.

It includes 114 apartments across two buildings, which will be five and eight levels high.

Diploma chief executive Nick Di Latte said it was an important milestone for the project.

"Diploma is focusing on delivering quality apartment developments in key suburban and regional locations throughout Perth and this offering will combine the best of apartment living with Rockingham's relaxed, holiday atmosphere," said Mr Di Latte.

A sales campaign for the apartments is expected to start early next year.

Construction is anticipated to be completed by early 2012.

Diploma Group Limited today announced it had received Development Approval for a $60M residential apartment development to be located at 24 Flinders Lane in Rockingham, Western Australia.

Upon completion the development will include 114 apartments across two buildings which will be five and eight levels in height. The project will be developed in two stages.

Diploma Chief Executive, Nick Di Latte, noted it was an important milestone in the delivery of a significant residential development in Rockingham.

'Diploma is focusing on delivering quality apartment developments in key suburban and regional locations throughout Perth and this offering will combine the best of apartment living with Rockingham's relaxed, holiday atmosphere,' said Mr Di Latte.

A sales campaign will commence on Stage 1 before the end of the year with work expected to commence on site in early 2011. Construction of stage 1 will be completed in early 2012.
