City of Canning has named Michael Littleton as chief executive. Mr Littleton has served as the director of infrastructure at the City of Stirling for the past seven years. He was previously the director of engineering and works at the City of Cockburn for almost a decade. Mr Littleton will begin in his new position in May.

Mining products and services provider Schlam has appointed Sydney-based David Haslett as chair of its board. Mr Haslett has served on the board of the company since August 2021. Prior to this appointment, he was president and chief executive of CR for more than nine years. Mr Haslett is now operating partner at The Riverside Company and chair of workplace health business Altius Group.

Greg Wheeler will be chief commercial officer at Black Rock Mining. Mr Wheeler started his career at PwC before spending 10 years with ship manufacturer Austal, where he was responsible for managing a team of more than 50 people. He joined privately owned global trading and shipping company Wellard and worked as finance director and chief executive.
