City of Stirling has appointed Andrew Murphy as director of infrastructure. Mr Murphy joins the council from the City of Vincent, where he works as executive director infrastructure and environment. He previously served at City of Stirling as manager waste and fleet, and manager infrastructure management services for the City of Joondalup.

Annette Tilbrook is joining the Football West board. Ms Tilbrook lived and worked in Asia from 1995 to 2020 and will help guide Football West’s Asian engagement strategy. She currently serves as a strategic adviser for the APAC Network. Prior to this, Ms Tilbrook was founding honorary secretary, executive director and board member of the Australia-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and was a director at AustCham ASEAN.

Musgrave Minerals has made Anthony Buckingham general manager-development. Prior to joining Musgrave, Mr Buckingham held the roles of chief operating officer, corporate development manager and general manager at Westgold Resources. He has previously worked at Newmont Australia, AngloGold Ashanti, Alcer Gold Corp and Avoca Resources.

Nick Heggart has started a new role as partner at Herbert Smith Freehills. Mr Heggart was previously a partner at specialist tax firm Greenwoods, which was recently acquired by PwC. He has broad expertise across most areas of taxation, including income tax, stamp duty, and resource rent tax and royalties. The firm also announced the appointments of special counsel Tristan Boyd and senior associate Louise Van Wyk.
