Construction company Monford Group has recruited Aidan Flynn as chief financial officer, bringing his more than 25 years of experience in the finance industry to the Adelaide Terrace-based company. During his career, Mr Flynn has worked at a suite of companies in the executive role of chief financial officer including for Fastbrick Robotics for six years, Carnegie Clean Energy Limited for nearly eight years and Chile-based HydroChile S.A. for three years. Before this, Mr Flynn worked at Alcoa as senior process improvement specialist.

Construction company JWH Group has appointed Michael Vermey as general manager for its Osborne Park-based brand Plunkett Homes. Mr Vermey has worked in the building industry for more than two decades and most recently served as operations manager for Dale Alcock Projects. Before this, Mr Vermey served in manager roles at Homebuyers Centre, Affordable Living Homes, Psaros Property Group and Dale Alcock Homes.

Hospitality company Triple-1-Three has promoted Braden Loader from head of brand and partnerships to the role of Otherside Brewing Co general manager. Mr Loader joined Triple-1-Three in September 2021 to oversee branding and partnerships within the Otherside brand and Triple-1-Three’s other venues. In his new role as general manager, Mr Loader would focus solely on Otherside Brewing, leading its brewing operations and venues, including the new brew lounge in Terminal 2 of Perth Airport which opened in December, and its merger with Nowhereman Brewing Co. Prior to joining the Triple-1-Three group, Mr Loader worked at Carlton and United Breweries for more than five years.

Gold producer Ramelius Resources has recruited Canada-based Darren Millman as chief financial officer, effective May 1. Mr Millman is a chartered accountant with more than 25 years of experience in mining, financial management and capital markets. He has been working at Canadian miner Centerra Gold for the past 11 years, most recently serving as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Until Mr Millman joins Ramelius Resources, general manager finance Ben Ringrose, who is based in Perth, will serve as acting chief financial officer.

Uranium explorer Bannerman Energy has announced a series of key appointments, as preparations for further development at its Etango project in western Namibia continue. The Subiaco-based company appointed Brandon Munro as executive chairman, taking over from Ronnie Beevor, who would be retiring as non-executive chairman after 15 years. Bannerman’s current managing director and chief executive officer will primarily lead Etango's financial workstream along with various corporate and capital markets portfolios. Gavin Chamberlain has been the company's chief operating officer since February last year and would be replacing Mr Munro as CEO, while Alison Terry will become Bannerman's lead independent director.
