Fisher chief at Cleveland

Peter Fisher has been appointed as chief executive officer of Brazilian gold and iron explorer Cleveland Mining Company. Mr Fisher has previously held executive management and consulting roles with BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Hancock Prospecting and HWE Mining. He will report to managing director David Medelawitz.

Reilly joins Allion Legal

WA law firm Allion Legal has appointed Brendan Reilly as principal to head up its construction and infrastructure group. Mr Reilly was most recently director of his own boutique firm, and has previously held senior corporate counsel roles at John Holland Group and Hancock Prospecting.

Stout chairs FPA WA

Randall Stout has been appointed as the WA chapter chair for the Financial Planning Association. Mr Stout is a private client adviser for HPH Solutions in Como.

CME promotes Campbell-Fraser

The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia has appointed Bruce Campbell-Fraser to the position of manager, communications and public affairs. Mr Campbell-Fraser has worked for CME for the past two years as manager of the people strategies portfolio. He previously held senior advisory roles with the federal immigration and citizenship minister and with WA premiers and ministers.

Sharaev to Access Analytic

Financial modelling provider Access Analytic has appointed Robert Sharaev as senior business analyst. Mr Sharaev has 10 years’ experience in finance systems and financial modelling.

Court up at Accenture

Nigel Court has been appointed as Asia Pacific natural resources industry lead at Accenture, a global management consulting and technology services company.

Mr Court was previously Accenture’s Australian mining lead, and will continue to be based in Perth.

New ScreenWest board

ScreenWest board member and Gryphon Management Australia director Peter Rowe has been appointed as chairperson, to replace outgoing chair Erica Smyth. Step Beyond director Janelle Marr and West Perth Periodontics founder Dax Calder have been appointed to three-year board positions. Filmmaker and Vue DC managing director Alan Lindsay has also been reappointed to the board for a further three years.

Primary Care WA board

Leading Age Services Australia CEO Anne Marie Archer, Pilbara Regional Aboriginal Health Planning Forum chairman Chris Renshaw, Podicare Services director Corrina Petrie, Silver Chain head of strategy Dan Minchin, and Murdoch University senior lecturer in clinical neurology, clinical diagnosis and neurology Randy Beck have been appointed as directors of Primary Care WA, a newly established advocacy organisation.

New Norton Gold Fields hires

Gold miner Norton Gold Fields has appointed Steven Phan as chief financial officer, to replace acting CFO Dane van Heerden. Mr Phan previously worked in a management role for Eldorado Gold Corporation, China region, and has also worked for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and KPMG in Canada and China, respectively. Norton has also appointed Richard Jones as general counsel and joint company secretary.
