The University of Western Australia has appointed Kent Anderson as deputy vice-chancellor (community and engagement), commencing in October.
Professor Anderson specialises in law, politics, economics and Asian studies.
He was most recently pro vice-chancellor (international) at the University of Adelaide and professor of law in the Adelaide Law School, and has been a visiting professor at universities in Japan.
