ASG wins more government work

IT firm ASG Group has built on its relationship with the federal government with the renewal of a new contract with the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development worth $23.8 million.

Under the five-year deal, ASG will deliver infrastructure services, desktop services and service management across the department’s ICT unit.

“ASG’s track record of delivering high-quality manages services, together with our innovative new world solutions, continues to demonstrate and deliver real benefits and value for money for our federal government customers,” chief executive Geoff Lewis said.

“This contract also solidifies our position as a premier provider of desktop and infrastructure services for the federal government.”

The agreement has an additional three-year term option.

In May, ASG was awarded an $18 million contract to provide its cloud platform to the Department of Communications.

Shares in ASG were 1.5 per cent higher to 96.5 cents at 9:45am.
