ASG appoints new northern region head

Perth-based computer infrastructure provider ASG Group Ltd has announced the appointment of Tim Selfridge as general manager of its Northern Region.

His appointment is with immediate effect and follows the recent additions of Western region general manager Murray Rosa and Rob Bild as general manager, Southern region.

Mr Selfridge will be based in Sydney and responsible for managing business operations in New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland.

ASG chief executive officer Geoff Lewis said that the board was pleased to secure a senior executive with Mr Selfrige's exceptional experience.

"Tim has extensive experience in the Managed Services sector. He will bring great leadership skills and management capabilities to the role which will be extremely valuable as ASG embarks on its aggressive growth strategy," Mr Lewis said.

ASG Appoints New General Manager, Northern Region
IT services provider ASG Group Limited (ASX: ASZ) today announced the appointment of Tim Selfridge as General Manager, Northern Region.

Mr Selfridge assumes the position with immediate effect. He will be based in Sydney and responsible for managing business operations in New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland. His appointment follows the recent additions of Murray Rosa as General Manager, Western Region and Rob Bild as General Manager, Southern Region.

Mr Selfridge is an experienced corporate executive with broad international experience in the information technology services field. His career, spanning more than 23 years, includes high-level positions at a number of mutli-national organisations including Hewlett Packard (HP) Oracle Corporation, EDS and Computer Science Corporation (CSC).

ASG Chief Executive Officer Geoff Lewis said the Board was pleased to secure a senior executive with Tim's exceptional experience.

Mr Selfridge was previously Director of Strategic Outsourcing (South Pacific Region) for HP where he was responsible for evaluating and developing HP's Outsourcing Services (Managed Services) and Services Portfolio. During his time at HP, Mr Selfridge was responsible for creating and supporting US$2.5 billion of new outsourcing contract sales.

Prior to his position at HP, he held the position of Senior Outsourcing Sales Executive, at Oracle Corporation Australia where he was focused on improving the overall performance of Outsourcing Sales in Australia and New Zealand.

Tim has also held various senior executive positions at EDS in Australia and America.
