ASG Group signs $6m Corrective Services contract

Perth-based IT services provider ASG Group Ltd will provide application systems support services to the WA Department of Corrective Services in a two-year contract for $6 million, the company has announced.

IT services provider ASG Group (ASX: ASZ) is pleased to announce that it has been contracted to provide application systems support services to the WA Department of Corrective Services.

The contract is valued at approximately $6 million over a two year period with an option to extend the contract for an additional year.

Under the agreement, ASG will provide maintenance and support for the majority of the Department's existing application systems. ASG will also implement new projects and systems enhancements that may be required.

ASG General Manager Western Region Murray Rosa said the Company was pleased to have secured a contract with DCS.

"This represents a great win for ASG against some very strong competition and further demonstrates ASG's strength and capability in applications management, particularly in Microsoft.Net and Oracle technologies," said Mr Rosa.

"We look forward to continuing our relationship with DCS and to providing significant value to the Department as it undertakes an improvement of its community based business application systems."
