500 jobs on offer at Crown

Resorts and hotels operator Crown Resorts has given the state’s hospitality sector a handy fillip, launching a recruitment drive for more than 500 employees to run the luxury Crown Towers property in Burswood.

Crown is seeking a range of workers for Crown Towers, which is expected to open in December.

The roles range from kitchen staff and sous chefs, through to porters, event managers and beauty therapists, as well as everything else needed to run a 500-room luxury property.

Crown Perth hotels executive general manager Andrew Cairns said the hotel would stimulate more international, interstate and intrastate conferences, events and conventions.

“Crown currently attracts more than 10 million visitors annually, and this is set to grow with the opening of Crown Towers, so ensuring we have the right people ion all our roles is key,” Mr Cairns said.

“We can’t wait to have our pre-opening team come together and really start to build the Crown Towers experience.”
