Gavin Burnett resigned from the position of State general manager of a large national recruitment firm to start his own company, BigRedSky, and to develop and commercialise an e-recruitment system.
He successfully raised significant capital to realise his dream and, since then, the system has been implemented in major corporations and government organisations across the country.
Mr Burnett also negotiated an Asia Pacific distribution agreement with TMP Advertising and Communications to market and sell the BigRedSky product.
In 2002, BigRedSky merged with Tusk Technology to create Empired, where Mr Burnett holds the position of executive director.
