PERTH-based e-business provider Working Systems Solutions Ltd has announced a joint venture that will allow it to market both traditional and new media products and services.

The company recently entered a 50:50 joint venture deal with Singapore-based info-mediary Indigoz Pte Ltd to build an integrated marketing solutions business, initially servicing markets in Singapore, Sydney and Perth.

Indigoz’s 100 per cent owned subsidiary Wordmaker Design Pte Ltd and in-house web design capabilities have been merged with Working Systems’ integrated communications division.

The expanded business, to be launched in Singapore this month, will provide web information systems, brand consulting, environmental graphics, and advertising, direct marketing and promotions.

Indigoz was founded in November 1999 providing trans-actional data and marketing solutions to a client base of more than 1,100 merchant outlets and corporate clients in Singapore. Indigoz’s flagship product is the Indigoz Program, a combination of a rewards program and a customer relationship manage-ment methodology.

Working Systems CEO John Wreford said Wordmaker had more than 16 years personnel expertise in areas such as corporate identity and signage.

Mr Wreford said the joint venture strengthened and enhanced the company’s geographic exposure in the Asian sector, providing it with a valuable cross-selling referral base, in addition to immediate, additional revenue.

Under the deal, Working Systems paid SIN$500,000 to buy 50 per cent of Wordmaker Design Pte Ltd, of which SIN$320,000 will be used as working capital to fund growth into new regions such as Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Manila.
