Shell has made another attempt to acquire WPL with a cheeky $14.80 cash/option offer. In return, Shell will contribute $6-7billion in domestic & international assets. The cash offer comes with a call option exercisable at the offer price of $14.80. Therefore, shareholders that accept the offer can buy back in at $14.80. The option will trade on the ASX.
