Women in Building & Construction

Tuesday, 9 November, 2004 - 21:00

The Master Builders Association will hold Talking Business – Women in Building and Construction on Wednesday November 17 at the Olive Tree Restaurant in West Perth.

The event is aimed at those wanting to gain a better understanding of the industry and expand their network of business contacts, in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

On gaining a better understanding of how a business operates attendees will be able to make informed decisions that will work towards achieving goals and expected outcomes.

The session will look at strategic intent and its place as the foundation of any business.

Attendees will be given a way to verify the strategic intent of their business and examine this from a different perspective, in order to meet what’s needed to achieve competitive advantage, design operational systems so they reflect the intent of the business and provide a framework to review outcomes when they fail to meet expectations.

The event will incorporate examples from the construction industry to provide relevant explanations and show real-life goals are achieved.

Registrations can be made with the MBA for members $26 and non-members $38.
