Subiaco-based mining services provider WestStar Industrial has secured $7 million worth of contracts in Western Australia through subsidiary Alltype Engineering.

Those contracts, worth about $5 million, include metal fabrication works for Primero Group, the Kwinana Waste-to-Energy plant and APA Group.

The company was also awarded a further $2 million worth of contract extensions with Georgiou Group, BP, Melchor, and Altona Plumbing and Civil.

Alltype managing director Kelvin Andrijich said disruptions in the international market had increased opportunities for the business’s domestic operations.

“Alltype has been delivering accelerated fabricated steel, plate and piping products and equipment to enable major resource and infrastructure projects to maintain progress and momentum on site,” he said.

“Once this alternative supply chain process was proven successful, it has resulted in multiple repeat orders and future supply opportunities.

“Our site teams continue to assist with critical infrastructure works on both planned and reactive basis to our clients’ needs.”

Shares in WestStar Industrial were trading at $0.02/share as of 12pm AEST.
