Wavenet wins new $1.25m sales order

Perth-based telco Wavenet has announced a new $1.25 million sales order for the supply of 10,000 Mobitex modems to an existing USA customer.

Wavenet chairman Mick Stroud said the re-order, for an Automatic Vehicle Location customer in the USA, was testament to the company's position in the Mobitex modem market and indicated growing demand for the products in the US.
"We are very pleased to see ongoing demand from our regular customers," he said.
"This re-order is further evidence of continued growth in the Vehicle Tracking market worldwide."
"We anticipate being able to deliver a significant portion of this order during the current financial year, further strengthening our ability to deliver on our very positive revenue and profit outlook recently announced in our half year results." said Mr Stroud.
