Wavenet International Ltd today announced that it had received further orders from leading innovative supplier of mobile solutions Brisbane-based Technisyst for its WaveReaderâ„¢ handheld modem devices.

The latest contract brings the total units ordered from Technisyst to 1200, for a total project value of over $500,000 including hardware and associated user-specific requirements.

Wavenet CEO Richard Timms said the reorder was a reflection of the close working relationship the Company had developed with Technisyst.

"We were confident that our relationship with the Technisyst, together with the performance of the device in the field, would result in further orders," said Mr Timms.

"We are now working closely with Technisyst to evaluate other potential applications of this product.

"It is especially valuable to our clients such as Technisyst that Wavenet devices are developed and supported in Australia because it offers them the opportunity to further explore product development areas directly with us rather than be forced to accept an inflexible off-the-shelf product often associated with other units."
