More than 23 nuclear industry regulators, players, specialists and investors from China including professor Min Maozhong from the department of earth science at Nanjing University and Zhao ChuanBao, director general for the Jiangxi Nuclear Industry Geological Bureau, to speak at the Australian Uranium Conference, July 25 and 26 at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle. Austrade’s senior trade commissioner in Hong Kong Peter Osborne to speak as CCI’s ‘Doing business with China’ seminar and cocktail function, July 27 at the CCI Function Centre. Bonnie Shek, director (Australia & New Zealand), Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will also be speaking at the event. Dr Barry Green, directorate general for research of the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium, to speak at an Australian Institute of Energy luncheon titled ‘Fusion energy and the ITER project, the next step to a sustainable future’, July 27 at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel.
