Technology and design consultant Mantel Group has expanded from the east coast into Perth, as it plans to take on 200 more staff nationally in the next 12 months.

Mantel Group, which currently has seven team members in WA, is a Melbourne-headquartered firm with seven brands under its remit.

Its new offices will be at level 32, 152 Saint George's Terrace.

It recently set up offices in Magnetic Island near Townsville and Queenstown as part of its expansion.

This follows national cloud consultant Versent expanding to Perth earlier this year, growing from 13 to more than 40 employees.

Versent works with Woodside Petroleum and several WA government and educational institutions.

One of Mantel Group’s brands Google solutions partner Kansa has had a long-standing relationship with Bentley software company Traffic Guard.

Mantel Group chief executive Con Mouzouris said the move to Perth came at a time of significant growth for the company.

“Being in the second fastest growing city in Australia just makes sense with our strategy. We are growing fast and so is Perth,” he said.

“We want to engage with the talent and companies that are a part of the city’s growth and are excited by our future here.”

Mantel Groups brands include digital consulting partner DigIO, data science provider Eliiza, consulting partner CMD Solutions, design lab Pretzel Lab, Microsoft cloud partner Azenix and data analytics group Cuusoo.
