Engineering and construction group Valmec has extended its partnership with Water Corporation, as well as secured two new energy contracts.

The total works, which include a $15 million Water Corp contract, bring Valmec’s order book to $75 million.

The Kewdale-based company said it was a key partner of Water Corp, having delivered more than $45 million worth of regional and metropolitan works in recent years. That includes for Water Corp’s Perth Metro Main Renewals program.

Valmec has been tasked with supplying further pipeline infrastructure under the new contract.

The company has also picked up work with South Australia’s Beach Energy and Queensland-based Arrow Energy.

Managing director Steve Dropulich said Valmec had well-established reputations across the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.

“Importantly, we continue to build our infrastructure offering, highlighting our strong relationship with Water Corporation,” he said.

“We are also buoyed by the project pipeline which is continuing to strengthen due to a strong rebound in the energy services sector.”

Valmec is targeting a $750 million pipeline of construction and services projects across its energy, resources and infrastructure divisions.

The company expects significant earnings growth in the current financial year, Mr Dropulich says.
