Valmec’s infrastructure and service divisions have won three new contracts with long-term repeat clients.

The company’s infrastructure business won works with the Water Corporation on their Perth Metro main renewals program and CBH Group’s Wickepin site upgrade project.

Its service division secured a contract for compression equipment overhaul and maintenance services for Lochard Energy in Victoria.

Works on these new contracts, which have a combined value of approximately $15 million, are expected to begin immediately.

In a statement, Valmec said the company’s order book remained strong, with a number of larger upstream energy and infrastructure projects expected to be committed.

It is the Kewdale-based company's second major contract announcement of the year, after it told the ASX in January it had secured a $22 million deal with Jemena to conduct facility construction works at its Atlas Gas Pipeline project in south-west Queensland.

Shares in Valmec were up 9.76 per cent to trade at 22 cents each at 11.40am AEDT.
