VDM Group has announced today that it has been awarded a $25.2m contract from BHP Billiton Iron Ore for the design and construction of an ammonium nitrate storage facility at BHP's Jimblebar project.
The project is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, approximately 39km east of Newman. The works on site are due to commence in February 2012 and are due for completion in December 2012.
The VDM group is a design and construction company that services the mining, oil & gas, infrastructure, civil and transport sectors.
This contract takes the total value of work won by VDM this financial year to more than $150 million.
