NORTHBRIDGE-BASED VDM Group Ltd is back on the acquisitions trail, announcing plans to acquire three Western Australia-based businesses for $87.5 million in cash and scrip during the 2007-08 financial year. The offers will comprise $46.9 million in shares and $40.6 million in cash. VDM has funded the cash component of the acquisitions through a placement of 24 million shares at $2.25 each. (See page 6)
