A MAJOR report by the Australian Universities Quality Agency has commended the University of Western Australia as a provider of high quality teaching and research and a place of high staff and student morale.
AUQA conducted its audit in August last year. Its report details how UWA had been making refinements to its direction and underpinning philosophies.
The report says UWA has traditionally enjoyed conspicuous successes as a university that allows high levels of autonomy to faculties and encourages individual excellence.
