Gold miner Cortona Resources has announced the appointment of mining engineer Mark Milazzo as non-executive director and Lorne Harvey as chief financial officer.
Mr Milazzo holds 30 years experience in underground and surface mines across a range of commodities, including senior roles with WMC Resources and contractor HWE Mining.
Mr Harvey has over 15 years' finance and commercial experience with listed mining companies, most recently with Mineral Resources.
"Mr Milazzo and Mr Harvey will significantly strengthen Cortona's team as the company transitions from gold explorer to gold producer over the coming months," Cortona said in a statement to the ASX.
At 10:50AM Cortona's stock was steady at $0.14.
