Tuesday, 17 October, 2017 - 13:11

The Peel Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc is excited to host the 2017 Future Proof Peel Business Conference, with Todd Sampson set to challenge the notion of conventional thinking in the business world.

“We wanted to bring something energising and disruptive to Peel and its business community and this is the conference to do it,” says Andrew McKerrell, Acting Manager of the Peel CCI.

“As we head into the last quarter of 2017, we want businesses to walk away with a fresh new approach to business and ready for 2018.  We have a great range of speakers set to engage our audience and show that you don’t always have to follow conventional thinking with business”.

Not only is Todd Sampson presenting, but also Greg Dudley, Partner from RSM Australia will be teaching us how to protect our assets. Julia Bickerstaff, founder of the Business Bakery sharing with us her well known 100 Day Goal program. Mykel Dixon is bringing a fresh artistic approach to customer service and Peter Rowsthorn, outstanding funnyman of Australian entertainment, will be the MC.

Plus many more speakers including Perth’s own Mark Pownall from Business News presenting on digital disruption.

With disruption becoming the norm, business leaders are the ones who proactively seek out and invest in innovation to thrive and prosper in this challenging new era.

The conference is aimed at those who are seeking:

  • Innovative ways and thinking to engage their customers and their team
  • Effective marketing strategies that will separate them from competitors
  • New levels of enthusiasm and energy to lift organisations out of the post mining doldrums
  • To learn more of the future of work and how to teach children to create jobs, not to just be reliant on them
  • The role of media and what it can do for growing businesses

“This is a great opportunity for local’s and people from outside the region to connect with some of Australia’s leading business people, creative thinkers and strategists, in Mandurah’s iconic Performing Arts Centre, less than an hour from Perth” says Mr McKerrell

“This is going to be an outstanding event and will inspire and motivate those who attend as well as leaving them with loads of actionable take home tips and applications to implement straight away.”

With 300 attendees spanning from across WA and the Peel region, the event will cater for businesses, entrepreneurs, community groups and not-for-profit organisations.

Peel Chamber has put together a special pricing package for larger businesses, their associates and business groups.

The event will be held at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Thursday the 9th November and registrations will be open for 7.50am.
