WESTERN Australian miner Titan has reached an agreement to buy Reliance Mining’s gold rights and title to the Munda lease, which is located about five kilometres west of Widgiemooltha for $500,000.
Munda is considered an outstanding nickel exploration target and Titan plans to commence drilling before the end of the month. In addition to the nickel mineralisation, Munda also holds a significant gold resource intimately associated with the nickel deposit.
Titan managing director Jeff Gresham said the purchase represented good value for the company.
“Titan can now immediately progress the exploration, evaluation and possible development of the property unencumbered by complex and potentially unworkable agreements,” he said.
